I really don't think this poll was needed.
I agree that we most certainly should give it more time to see how it matures and develops. As far as this poll being "needed" is concerned, I posted it because I felt guilty that the moderators put their faith in me to suggest a new sub-forum for PA, and I thought I had let them down on this gamble because the sub-forum has been so slow to take off. Even now I can count the number of regular posters on there on one hand, whereas the NEPA sub-forum has dozens of regulars.

I'm hoping that the Lehigh Valley sub-forum has managed to clear up any confusion about where to post inquiries about ABE, as I know in the past people were coming onto both the NEPA and Philly sub-forums asking for help, even though folks in these two areas really are independent of the Lehigh Valley (hence why I suggested the sub-forum).

If folks don't think it was a mistake to create it, then I am very humbled and pleased. As I said, we'll see in mid-2008 if folks think I should once again lobby for that fifth "South Central PA" sub-forum with the 2,000,000+ residents in the Capital/Amish region. For now I think we're fine.

You should definitely keep the sub-forum. There are many folks out there specifically focusing on the Lehigh Valley and I expect that you will see many more topics of interest arise in the future. As the area population grows, the forum will become a great resource for many of us.

for a new resident, I find it very helpful. I don't know my PA geography enough to figure out the dividing lines when I'm trying to find certain information and so I am for one glad to have the info for the LV area more confined so I don't have to search multiple places.
