Curious where you ended up. Hanover? How is your commute? I live in Baltimore county, work in woodlawn, and I'm thinking of moving to hanover area. Anything you'd be willing to share?

I ended up buying a house in south Hanover. The drive is about an hour but has taken 45 mins with no traffic and twice 2 hours when it snowed and I decided to go to work anyways Average drive is about hour and 15 mins. I am happy with picking Hanover its a great town with like no crime compared to what we were used to. I have a very felxable work schedule so The commute works for me. I usually dont hit traffic till the beltway. The school District is great. I am happy living here. As for Cable we went for comcast. Only because I get most the channels and Internet I wanted for a cheaper price. If I was not so cheap and paid the extra $10-20 a month I am sure I could get a lot better with either Dish or Direct Tv for tv and Comcast for internet and be happier.

Thanks, lifewithken. Very helpful. By the way, we may work at the same place! I won't say which, but there are two major employers in woodlawn and I work for one of them too. Do you start early in the day to avoid traffic?
