Additionally for Downtown Pittsburgh, aside from what's been posted, there is also a new residential tower in the works along the Mon, and also a new Holiday Inn in the same general area that I think is 10 stories. Don't have links to those, maybe someone else can post them. I haven't heard news about the residential tower for a while, not sure if it is still moving forward.

There is also this new hotel, which I'm not sure counts as a highrise but looks so cool it deserves to be posted:

I saw that. Glad they are preserving that old building. The portion on the left I believe is new construction at least 10 floors tall.

And Pitt definitely needs more residential towers! Hope it comes to fruition.

If Riverparc ever comes to fruition, it will be the biggest residential tower in city history.

Agreed. It won't reach its potential until it does. Building 3 story condos on the northshore is a travesty.

How about the tallest house in the USA? It's "Hall's Tower" in Mechanicsburg. Look up the video.
lol, you mean almost 30 years ago.
Have u been to Philly recently? It blows Pittsburgh skyline out of the water.

Not to say pittsburgh doesn't have an interesting skyline, but Philly's is bigger, taller, and just more abundant.

Very nice! Beautiful new tower for Pittsburgh. I see a bit of another crane up. That's for the Gardens right?

More buildings doesn't always mean it's better looking. Many people prefer Chicago's skyline to NYC even though it has a small fraction of the total number of buildings.
