Anyone have any opinions of the Schuykill Valley School District? What are the sending towns?

Looking to move into the area from Northern NJ. Both my husband and I grew up in rural areas so we are used to a more quieter pace.

Thanks in advance for any/all opinions.

Britta

from Schuylkill Valley School District (http://www.schuylkillvalley.org/d_about.asp - broken link)

Quote:
The Schuylkill Valley School District is located in northern Berks County in southeastern Pennsylvania, the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The district lies in the valley created by the Blue Mountains to the north and the Schuylkill River to the south and encompasses approximately 53 square miles that includes the municipalities of Bern, Centre, and Ontelaunee Townships and the boroughs of Leesport and Centerport. The district is both rural and suburban, including farmland as well as business and light industry.
The Schuylkill Valley School District campus is located at the intersection of Routes 61 and 73, 1 mile south of Leesport and 6 miles north of Reading.
Smaller neighborhoods include Mohrsville, parts of Shoemakersville, Bernville, and the northwestern fringe of Reading (near the airport)
You may also find the Hamburg, Fleetwood or Oley area to your liking.

Wernersville or Robesonia might be very well-suited areas as well.
