It depends on your specific situation. Would you need to find a job? Do you have kids in school?

Parts of both counties are very scenic. I love the Yough and Ohiopyle in Fayette County. I'm not crazy about any of the towns in Fayette County or Johnstown in Cambria County. Few jobs in either county. If you're retired, I would look at the differences in taxes. Also consider healthcare, which basically comes down to Uniontown Hospital vs. Conemaugh Health System.

I would toss a coin on that one. They are both about equal so it comes down to your personal preferences.
