When it runs well, it's great but it doesn't take much to back up this drive in rush hour.
I am begining to see my ideal of commuting and "yours" are not quite the same! Just another small thing to face. I'm pretty sure the way I am thinking of commuting is not the same as what you are actually doing up there! Dallas traffic is crappy, to say the least, everyone in Texas has to have at least one car, and we aren't really sure what "mass transit" is yet. So to sit in a car for 25 min. to get 8 miles, that I understand. I just don't know about really driving 1:30 to and from work everyday. I don't want to get use to that. So I guess it is time for another plan...
I'm picking 7 numbers for the lotto tonight, buying a few tickets and in case that doesn't work looking a little closer to the cities.

I used to do the exact same thing when I live around the Baltimore Area, sitting in 30 minutes of traffic to get 11 miles.

So I made the move to PA. Without traffic the drive is 45 minutes for 45 miles, and there is all rolling countryside.

I would suggest when you come to the area, make the drive from anywhere along I 83 in PA south of York, and drive down to the baltimore area.

I feel it is much better than actually sitting in traffic. Your calf muscles might get smaller however
