Our family is planning to move to PA and need advice on which towns offer good special needs services for a young adult. Our 22 yr old daughter lives with us and likes to go to the gym for yoga class but needs an aide to help her. Will the park district provide an inclusion aide? Or, if she takes a pottery class? In a few years she will need to move into a group home as we get older. Do you know how good special needs services are in PA? I It doesn't matter which area of PA we live in. If you know of another state that is great for special services let us know. Thanks

I am here in Pa York and Adams county. There are many resources in the area. We are in between York and Adams county. You will be one one Hour From baltimore. 45 from Hershey. However there are lots of ymcas and ywcas in the area. An aide would not be a propblem. Also there are many private type class offed at gyms and I am sure they too will be happy to help you with your daughter as well. Homes are priced resonable and work opportunitys are plenty. Also we have a county run bus that could help with your daughters needs as well if she is able. Please let me know how else I can help...
