Ok, I live North in Mass. and well, few days ago we got 10 inches of snow, yesterday 3 inches and today and tonight another 10 inches. We gave up shovelling ....but maybe will do the roof tomorrow. Doesn't matter where ya live, weather isn't going to be perfect alot of the time.....if that is your criteria, you will always be unhappy.

Yes counting the days—about 45 more, and I’ll be back in PA.

After being in Florida for about a year, I’ve reached the unavoidable conclusion that the relentless summers here are worse than the winters in Pennsylvania.

I’ve run into numerous other people from somewhere in the North who tried living in Florida, hated it, and moved back home. Count me in that column; you couldn’t pay me to stay here.

Typo land, or you folks are posting drunk.

I've lived in three areas of the Mid-Atlantic, North Carolina, California (less than a year), and a few other places at three months a pop.

I grew up in Pennsylvania. That's my normal. You don't see negative zero very often. It can be quite cold, and it snows. It's hot and humid in the summer, and sometimes there are droughts--but no one is going to go without water. It's not the desert.

North Carolina? I had to learn how to live there. There are very nice beaches and they have great BBQ!

I don't know; what were you thinking?

Wait till you experience 5 months of scorching heat and humidity that will make you sticky all over walking to your car. This is when the nice weather is in the south. Not too hot, not too cold. Enjoy it while it lasts, it doesn't last long. Then comes the heat wave.
