Yeah, I always had "the prick" appended after my name. Even teachers. Ran into one of my high school teachers a couple years ago, I've been out of school 45 years so he's got to be in his late 70s now, and he asked if I was still as big a prick as I was in school. I asked him if he was still pissed that most of his students were smarter than him. God, that man was dumb.

Plus about every church dinner and restaurant. They might be the most visible remnant of Slavic culture once you're out of view of the onion domes.
>>>> Thanks for the info on Mrs. T's, kiOeh. I see their other varieties at Redner's and other grocery stores but the sauerkraut ones are never offered. They'd be good with kielbasa or pork.

I personally consider them about like a bagel in the Midwest, a pale imitation of the original. I never liked pierogies growing up, as that was what we had (living in a town remote from a heritage church and its suppers).

We used to buy them from the church ladies. Those were good. I don't eat Mrs. T's.
