i was looking into jim thorpe to possible move, i came across that a very old school was converted into 9 aprtments was wondering if anyone here has stayed there as a tenant or visited friends there just wondering on general info of how it is inside i did see a few pics on there official website but again wanted a persons opinion.

also if its haunted or pests issues.

Is this the old school located on Route 902? I believe that, if that's the one you're speaking of, indeed was an old school. But I remember that there were businesses occupying that building for quite some time (I think one was actually the driver's license photo center). I'm guessing the renovations were fairly recent?

That's a very nice area, across the bridge and not a far drive to places like Split Rock Lodge, Jack Frost Ski Area, and Penn's Peak.

As for pest issues - I can't help there.

Is this right across from the Lutheran church? If so, that is an OLD school. My mom graduated from JT in 1958 and the school was there way back then. Not sure when it was built, but hopefully renovations have fixed any issues. I doubt it's haunted, and I guess pests depends on how neat you and your neighbors are. I don't think roaches would be an issue, but possibly centipedes and spiders would be.

its on 49 west broadway. the bio for the old school was it opened in late 1800s and then closed in 1930s, the became a unemployment type office and then a purse factory till the 1970s and the a number of owners and renovations. till a sold owner renovated it properly.

Okay, my grandparents used to live at 129 West Broadway, so it's not too far from there. That's a nice area, near the old movie theater. Is there still a bakery near there?
