I live in Quakertown and it's very safe. Hunter's Crossing is a smaller development (60 homes?) that is family friendly. The homes (IMO) seem a little close together and the lots are probably about a 1/4 acre. The development does back up to a small shopping center (which may or may not be a concern). My kids have attended Quakertown schools since 2nd grade (youngest is now 15) and we feel they have both received a quality education. We have a walkable downtown with nice shops, new library, nice community pool. Memorial park is across the street from the pool. Quakertown has events that take place year round and it seems like the whole town attends. There are other nice developments in Quakertown (not all our "in town") some are in the outlying areas of Milford Township and Richland Township and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
