Yeah, there is that. We have the same here in SoMD and also where I'm from in NWPA. They want to live rural but don't know the trade-offs that entails.

No disagreements there. We can only hope he knows what he’s asking and makes the decision that’s right for him.

Moving to San Francisco was apparently a disaster for the OP, despite the perception of how "welcoming" the city may have been at one time.

And it would be even worse if he ended up in a place that he finds not just broadly unwelcoming, but outright hostile due to his race, national origin, sexual orientation, and gender nonconformity.

How do you this if my profile is hidden and if I changed my username? Not sarcasm, but I am Indian and I do wear makeup. I am bi and gender non-conforming. All true. I was worried about this being an issue in SE PA.

You still have the same posting history associated with your new username.

Yes, you can search up posts affiliated with someone's username. Is that how you found it? My profile is private otherwise.

Irrespective of profile privacy, you can still see a user’s posting history.

No one’s trying to call you out. This is all meant to be supportive. We don’t want you to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I've reading your posts for years. I didn't have to search.
