Hi,

I follow this forum for a long time now and it was because of what I read here that I choose PA state for a possible future relocate. So, I´m planing to spend 1 month (November) in the Philadelphia area. I now it will be hard to rent just one month but maybe some one here will travel in November so I can rent a furnished house or apt in a nice place in Philadelphia nice suburb or other nice town 30 - 40min drive. It would be my wife, my 2 year son and myself. We are both 28 years old, and we are from Brazil. If anybody has a place or some advice do give, it would be wonderful! We´re looking for a house with a good kitchen (my wife cooks a lot).

Thanks! (I´ll look in craigslist too.. )

Thanks for the info about the snow. I hope I can get some snow while I´m there.

Hi Joyce,

My plan it´s to try to simulate the life I´m planing to have when I relocate. So what I´m looking for it´s a nice new or nice furnished house, 2br, not too far from malls and supermarkets (don´t has to be too near to philly). I think I´ll rent a car for the month to travel around and know other places. I´ll have a budget up to 2k. Don´t have to be big, but with a good kitchen and a beautiful neighborhood. I want to be able to walk/play with my 2 year son.
Thanks! ewalker

Oh, sorry - and I really wouldn't count on snow in November, but you never know.

Contact local real estate agents ,what I understand is the ones around bigger cities handle rentals and they can arrange it for different length of times from a couple of weeks to a couple of months just look google them and start emailing them and let them know what you are looking for they should be able to help you out ,when you are here check out the Reading Market ,King of Prussia mall ,Valley Forge ,Gettysburg PA ,Franklin Institute ,there is lots to see and do including jumping on a train to goto NY,NY to see a broadway show or head the opposite direction to see our nations Capital or the Smithsonian Institute museums which is well worth the travel time and since this is the down time for tourists you can get good deals on hotel rooms .
hope this helped
