My family and I are relocating to the Harrisburg area this summer. I had looked up homes in the Dillsburg area and it seemed like a decent place to live. I know nothing about the schools in that area. I would like to find out how the schools are from an individual who has gone to one of the Northern York County schools in that area or who has children that are attending one of the schools.

Default Dillsburg PA

I attend Northern High School, and have gone to Northern since kindergarten. It is a very nice school, and the teachers are absolutly amazing. We have almost any sport you'd like to participate in. The school is a bit small, but it isn't like, extremely tiny. There are four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. As for things to do in Dillsburg, it all depends on what age groups your family falls into. There isn't really much to do IN Dillsburg, but there are many things within 5-20 minutes from dillsburg.

Good luck, and I hope I helped make your descion a bit(:

My cousin lives in Dillsburg and his daughter attends one of the elementary schools. He seems to be happy with it. I grew up in the area and have not heard too many bad things about the district. I live in Mechanicsburg, which is only a few minutes away and think the Dillsburg/Mechanicsburg area is really nice. Cumberland Valley School District is really good, if you are considering anything other than Dillsburg. If you need information about what is in the area I could definitely give you some. Do you have other specific questions?
