Hi
My fiance and I have been looking for houses in this community. It looks like a beautiful place to live but we don't know the first thing about it.....My main concern is how much it costs to live there, like a member fee or something like that. When you buy a house there, you'd pay a morgage and other obvious bills but I need to know everything other than that. It might sound silly, but i'm only 20 and im very very new at this!!

Google it. I know they used to have a web forum where you could ask questions and read about the happenings there. I was looking at it, but decided against it for now. It is a large development, mainly second and weekend homes, where the owners had the right to rent out their home. I felt that I didn't want to have my primary home in a rental community, but someone else might have a different opinion than that.

The houses are very close together in this community and it mostly second and week-end homes. I am not sure if it is in North Pocno or Wallenpaupack School District. I knw Wallenpauapck School District is very good and I beleive North Pocono is also a good school.

I have lived here 13 years in The hideout. As far as rentals go, on occassion a neighbor may rent their vacation home out for the summer, but it is really no different than the owner coming for a visit. If you didn't know the owner personally, you would never even know it was a renter. Rentals are few and far between. Houses are on 1/2 acre lots (mostly wooded) if you consider that close together... School district is Western Wayne.

My fiance and I have been looking for houses in this community. It looks like a beautiful place to live but we don't know the first thing about it.....My main concern is how much it costs to live there, like a member fee or something like that. When you buy a house there, you'd pay a morgage and other obvious bills but I need to know everything other than that. It might sound silly, but i'm only 20 and im very very new at this!!
