I posted the story about our stove going bonkers and almost catching fire over the weekend. Now that Sears has blown us off as expected, we need a new stove. My understanding is that Kenmore, GE, Whirlpool and Maytag are basically made by the same factories and all have complaints regarding the same thing that happened to us. Anybody have knowledge in this area, or suggestions on how to buy a good glass top stove made by someone else that's affordable? Any info appreciated. Thanks.
