I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for the top preschools and elementary schools in the Newtown and Yardley area? Are there any we should avoid?

Would love to hear your opinions--thanks!

Take a look at Children Central in Langhorne, PA., which is very close to Yardley and Newtown. My two children go there and it is a great facility. They are the only school I know of that actually puts the teacher's profiles on their website, so you can see their experience and degrees and know well who is taking care of your child. They also serve a nutritious lunch and have their own chef, which I appreciate, so that I do not have to prepare lunch every morning. Their curruculum is great, teachers post their weekly lesson plan and my kids have a very fun day learning. The center is kept very clean with a good security system. They also have the best playground in the area, as I have visited many of the schools in the area. Their website: Langhorne/Yardley Child Care and Preschool - Children Central.
