Well, since you're going to be living in Clarks Summit, I'll limit the listings to the immediate Scranton area, although many more are located in the Wilkes-Barre area as well.

Marywood University: Located in the Green Ridge section of North Scranton, not far at all from your future home, this shady Liberal-arts campus, which was established in 1915, enrolls over 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The campus sprawls out over 115 acres, and there are 50 undergraduate degrees offered. Their athletic name is the Marywood "Pacers." The campus mostly attracts those majoring in either art or education, but other options are available.

University of Scranton: Serving as the transition between Center City and the Hill Section, this Jesuit campus was founded in 1888. The largest areas of study here are biology, communications, business, and physical therapy, although many other majors are offered. The campus is home to a lot of graduate students; I even plan to come here for my MBA in two years. Together with Lackawanna College and the upcoming Scranton Medical School, these campuses have proven vital to the continuing recovery of Center City. The University of Scranton has garnered much nationwide recognition for many of its programs, and the Kania School of Management is AACSB-accredited.

Lackawanna College: Also located in Downtown Scranton, this small college was founded around the turn of the 20th Century. This college offers Associate's Degrees in various areas of study, including accounting, banking, business administration, criminal justice, vascular technology, paralegal studies, humanities, and many others. Their athletic team name is the Lackawanna "Falcons." The enrollment is right around 1,000 students.

Keystone College: Located in La Plume, about ten minutes to the northwest of Clarks Summit via Routes 6/11, this 270-acre rural campus was founded in 1868. The college enrolls 1,700 students. The college offers 19 Bachelor's Degree programs and 21 Associate's Degree programs. The school is most noted for its forensic biology, criminal justice investigation, and fine art programs.

Penn State: Worthington/Scranton: Located just outside of the Scranton city limits in Dunmore, this division of Penn State was founded in 1968. The 45-acre campus serves 1,400 students. The Bachelor's Degrees offered here include American Studies, Business Administration, Human Development & Family Studies, Information Sciences & Technology, Nursing, and Organizational Leadership. Associate's Degrees, which are then transferred to PSU's main campus in State College, can be obtained in Architectural Engineering Technology, Business Administration, Human Development & Family Studies, Information Sciences & Technology, and Nursing.

Baptist Bible College & Seminary: Located in Clarks Summit's "twin city" of Clarks Green, this college was founded in 1968. This institution offers Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Philosophy degrees, as well as Bachelor's and Master's Degrees relating to theology and the bible.

If you have any more questions about these campuses in the Scranton area, or if you'd like to know more about the ones in the Wilkes-Barre area, feel free to ask!

University of Scranton and Keystone College both have dorms. I have heard that Keystones Dorms are quite nice, apartment style. My daughter goes to Penn State Worthington Campus. A nice small campus in a nice area. Sometimes I wish she did live in a dorm though, she has a 40 minute drive to school.
