Does anyone know if they are still doing construction at night on interstate 81 northbound around the Harrisburg/Fort Indiantown Gap exits?

Interstate 81 is down to 1 lane in each direction in Schuylkill-County for about 18 miles--is that what you mean?

I-81 is a parking lot between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre around 4:30 PM everyday. Is that what you meant? LOL!

No, but your advice does help because I travel often. Any idea when they expect to be done these projects? The only reason I hate the summer season is construction.

The Schuykill County bit has been going on for several months at least, and they still need to repave the right lanes in both directions, so probably a bit longer.

I have found the best roads in the most remote and least traveled regions of the state. The black top looked it was put down the day before. Smooth as glass.

Umm that's because it probably was or indeed because the roads are remote=less traffic=less wear & tear
