I didn't even know there was a question posed.

Simple. It's called marriage. Happens to the best of us eventually.

muttering to self, "must not use super powers to delete that ^post".......

StuckPa - I admire you for living in a place you do not want to be. The challenge is to find the positives. Good luck to you.

Ok, there TBT........your getting me started..........LOL

What is such a positive is that from our wooded, wonderland of PA we can in a bit over an hour....be in one of the greatest cities in the World...New York City.
So in this short amount of time, you can be watching a Broadway Show..( gosh, I'm going to White Christmas next month) You can be sitting watching the ice skaters in Bryant Park, or standing in awe of our Nations historic Christmas tree.

Other positives is that we can be in Philly in just over an hour too. Go to the New Years Parade.
Watch the String Bands.........

One of my favorite positives is we can be at the ocean by NOON.........oh yep.
I can be in Wildwood, or Rehoboth, even Bethany Beach, and enjoy the waves in just a short time.

Other things have been mentioned over and over. Our mountains, lakes, and other adventures.....

When I think of the positives, the negatives are very small.

Anyone who can afford to live in Squirrel Hill has no reason to be depressed.

Suck it up

I notice a common item here...it's usually the people of privilege that sit back and give me the most criticism, yet I hardly hear from people who have been in actual similar situations. Makes me wonder about the majority that now frequents CityData...
I do recall having been on more local sites that I'd actually gotten more of an even response...although this was a couple years ago...maybe those people already went under and the rich are already beginning to stamp the rest of us out
