I'm an outdoors guy. I like the mountains, atv riding, and lakes. Any suggestion on what towns to search in? Its either going to be NC, PA, or upstate NY so I want some input before I move. I want alot of land but still be able to be decently close to jobs

Maybe check out the Allentown or Scranton areas. Harrisburg backs up to some mountains too I think.

You might like Towamensing Trails in Albrightsville. They allow ATVs in the community. They have a lake for boating, and swimming, and there are mountains everywhere. You'd not be far from Jim Thorpe which is the "Switzerland" of PA. You'd also be near a bunch of skiing places and other locations with outdoor activities.

I would consider cumberland county or Upper Adams county. You will find wide open space for atv. And plenty of wooded areas for hunting and hiking . And or fishing. If you want more detail on these areas just ask. Happy to forward some maps and local information about the area. You just can not beat fall here with the changing trees!!!

Consider the State College area. College town supplies jobs, plenty of hiking, boating, fishing, biking, and hunting around.

I saw your other posts. If you really love the outdoors, mountains, lakes, 4 wheeling like you say, anyone of Western NC, Central PA and Upstate NY would fit you.

I considered suggesting State College as well but wasn't sure what kinds of jobs you'd be looking for and while State College offers plenty of jobs for students, it lacks in more mature jobs. Which is why my family eventually had to move away from State College (my original home town).

This place is in Hazelton and offers a lot of off roading.

ParagonAP.com ATVs & Motorbikes

If you really want mountains, go to Colorado.

I'm not to sure what you mean. State College obviously has tons of professors and other university related jobs, plus your usual "student" jobs. However, in the past decade, many more jobs have sprung up in the area. Many businesses are located here, like accuweather, something everyone knows.
