I do agree there. PSU fans, especially the student sections, are the most vulgar bunch of drunks I've ever seen at a sporting event (and I'm an EAGLES fan!). They disrespect every other school that comes to play at Penn State.....they turned their back on the Notre Dame band last year and flipped their middle fingers up as they played during halftime. They yelled during the game, out loud, "F--k the Irish" nevermind the fact that people bring their kids to these games.

Penn State's fan base is low-class.

The Rose Bowl shows what happens when Penn State finally plays a good team. But, they'll be back next year with another cupcake schedule full of Coastal Carolina, Temple, Akron, Whatsamatta U., International Correspondence Schools.....and their buttwipe drunken fans will be back shouting obscenities at the opposing team and their fans.

I thought that Penn State brought it on in the second half. That being said Pete Carroll usually has the second and third string out there by then. This being the last game of many of the Trojans I did notice they were allowed to continue on with the game. Many were excited to have the chance to be out there before they go on to play for the NFL.

Temple may do it's educating well, and it's got a nice basketball program but it's football program, c'mon. You can't be good at everything, right?

I am Penn State alumni, and certainly a PSU fan. I live in Southern California. I was at the Rose Bowl in the PSU section, and remembered what it was like to hang out with a bunch of obnoxious people from Philly, "Jersey" and NYC. Perhaps my favorite moment was when a group of 20-22 year old men and women (who had NJ/NYC type accents) were yelling out "University of Spoiled Children," as if, they were some poor and disadvantaged folk who paid their way to the game. Sure...maybe they did...heh.

The funny thing is the USC fans were actually nicer to me and my GF than the PSU fans, despite our obvious PSU clothing.
