Can anyone please tell me anything about pike county, Monroe co, and the are of Shawnee..... I heard Tobyhanna is bad can anyone please fill me in.... I live in NJ ready to retire but I still have kids in special ed HS level.... I'm looking for a less expensive way of life because NJ taxes are out of control and everything is so expensive. Any info would be appreciated!

Ridgway is a nice town. Lots of outdoor activity here. Jobs aren't that hard to find. Crime is low except for the Drug problem. Cost of living is very low Can buy a house around $30K-$200K Apartment rent is $ 300-500 a month. Its close to bigger towns so you can go to the big box stores ETC.
