I am not saying I think people like to. I have never actually had anyone insult Pittsburgh when I have gone away and told them I was from here but I came across this BBC video today that thinks there is an issue with the media bashing our state.

I thought the video was a little odd personally. I don't think the BBC realized how many thought of it as a joke with the worst accent thing.
