Hi. Can anyone tell me about the Danville,Lewisburg and Milton areas? They look so nice and the homes seem reasonable. How is it for jobs, schools, shopping etc. Any help is appreciated.

Smile Nice Area

I lived in Danville about 20 years ago when I was around 13 or so, and my aunt still lives there. It is a really nice area with FABULOUS schools. Some of my junior high school teachers were college professor material. There is a lot for families to do and the town is clean.
Bloomsburg is very close, with a nice university and all of the associated young adult entertainment. The neighborhoods are safe and there is a top-notch medical center. There is a more diverse cultural community there than in surrounding communities, due to the influx of medical professionals and college professors and students (Bloomsburg). All in all, I wish I could go back, but Pittsburgh is calling......

Red face Thanks for the info 1 more ??

One more question. Is it extremely snowy in that region? I can handle snow storms but I am wondering is it as severe as upstate NY with snow on the ground from Nov.-MArch or is it more moderate? Thanks again for the info

Nah, not too bad. You can check the average snowfall on-line, but it's about average for PA.
