I heard that story, but from what I was told it it knocked the guy's head clean off. Was a fun bridge to drive over, surprised with the size of cars back in the day there weren't more accidents.

Anybody know what they are fixing on the old trail? Not sure if they are repaving or doing something else. Heard a few things that didn't make sense so my curiosity is peeked

They are replacing that little bridge near the power plant. It's to reopen by the end of November. The big repaving and reconstruction of the old trail is to start sometime next summer I think?

Thanks for the information! Glad to hear it will be short shut down for the old trail. I'll dread the repaving next summer but it will be nice when they are done with better roads

I heard they are going to be making a mess of the Old Trail, installing sidewalks, drainage and curbing from Sheetz to Shamokin Dam. My Cousin has a friend who lives right off of it, got a notice that the would be tearing up his yard.

Another question! I see a permit for alcoholic beverages besides Sheetz on the strip. Are they being allowed to have beer (know they have been lobbying for it in all stores) or is there something else going in there?
