Someone said Twisty Freeze closed. i drove by today and sure enough it was dark. Not sure if it's just temporary or if it's official.
Small businesses seem to suffer soo much in this town!

I just called and the message said they were closed for the season.

That's odd that they would close for the season. They are more of a restaurant than an ice cream place right? Does anyone know if they had much business?

I've heard that the Twisty Freeze is done for good. It is a shame that small businesses seem to struggle any more in the area

New rumor: Phillips Hotel is done and Sheetz is thinking of building a second store so they have both ends of the strip covered. Not sure I believe this one but has anybody heard anything?

Anybody know what is going in across from Long John Silvers at the old Arthur Treachers building? Seems that they had some vans there doing work. Curious as to what may be going in there.

Any new rumors on anything coming into the area?

Jersey Mikes in Lewisburg opening January 6 according to their website - https://www.jerseymikes.com/locations/?zip=17837

I assume others will open around the same time — Starbucks, pet store, Chipotle. Always liked Jersey Mikes when we lived in Ohio.

Twisty Freeze was good enough, but I thought they were too expensive for what you got, and around here, that will kill your business quick.

I was surprised Philips Motel closed.

We moved away from Norry in July, and are now closer to Montandon. Looking forward to trying the new businesses near McDonald's (well, except for Chipotle and Starbucks - don't care for either). Disappointed about McCann taking up that nice space. I guess they've milked Sunbury for all it's worth. Out of 12 people I know who went there, 2 had good things to say, and 10 said their diploma isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

I've heard from a few people that Goodwill's by the mall isn't good. I haven't been in, and living as close to the other location as I do now, there's no need.

Has anyone heard anything about Amato's in Norry? They usually close around the new year for vacation. They were closed on December 29 - we wanted to eat lunch there - went to LoDuca's instead. Every day I have driven by since then, it's still closed.

Amato's opened back up last week - maybe it was an extended vacation.

I just found out Primo Hoagies is coming to Lewisburg - their hoagies are amazing. Does anyone know where they're going to be located?

Default Primo Hoagies

They leased 1,600 square feet from Penn House Commons, near the new Lewisburg Giant.

Thanks! I'm stoked for Primo. I won't have to go to Allentown to get them anymore.
