What are a few good rural/country areas by and in Erie County where one may move to and how do I access them online?

My first choice would be a place out on Belle/Sidehill Road in Harborcreek/North East with a nice view of the lake. A lot of people wouldn't consider that "rural", though.

North East Township starts out semi rural but gets more solidly rural as it gets close to the border with New York State.

How do you access them online? Type "North East Township" in to a search box.............like anything else

I absolutely love Waterford. Quaint village surrounded by rural areas. Just 20 minutes to the conveniences of the city. Major snow belt, though!

Waterford is a sweet little town, as are North East and Girard.

If you really want rural in Erie County, I'd go with the southeastern or southwestern corners.

On realtor. com, you can search by county. Then narrow it down by your other preferences.

Not sure if that's possible on the other online real estate sites.
