We didn't care what color the people were, we wanted good schools. If diversity is the number one priority, that's okay too.

I was responding to this, "Pretty much everywhere from Harrisburg south to York in the Central PA area, east from Lancaster through Chester County to Philly, north to Allentown and beyond to the Poconos is pretty diverse." The cities ARE diverse, the suburbs - not so much.

Yes, I understand that about schools. I guess the rest of my reaction to your comment is just a matter of semantics. I don't think of Lancaster, Lebanon, York and the other areas to really be cities; I am and have been surprised at how diverse these areas are despite what may be initial impressions.

Are the whole counties diverse though? My SIL lives in Lancaster county and her kids HS is 93% Caucasian. Oh, I see what you are saying, you are NOT considering Lancaster the city to be a real city. I come from a small town, to me a city is anything over 7,000 people!
