If there has been lots of rain, is it ok to go ahead with a perk test for sewage?

Not sure, but I think heavy rains would affect the outcome of the Perc test.

If you have arrangements with a septic engineer (or whoever is doing the test) they should be able to advise. I'd wait a few weeks, if possible.
