is G20 good or bad? nobody in Philly wants it. Pittsburgh's a nice place and certainly needs the help in the PR department. It really reminds me of Philly maybe ten years ago when it started to get the press (America's Next great City, the sixth borough, etc). I thought maybe someone would be happy for pennsylvania, but I guess people in Pittsburgh are too small minded, clinging to their Gods and guns, holin up in their houses shooting cops over some race war.

Yes - that is a very accurate description of Pittsburgh. You have nailed it EXACTLY.

I spent this weekend cleaning my guns and praying while thinking about how much I like white people.

Thank you for your insightful post.

These lists are as stupid as the "best party schools" or "smartest cities" lists.

It pretty much comes down to the opinions of the authors, and can't really be proven or disproven.

You seemed to have missed the point entirely.

And I wouldn't want Philadelphia to have it either.......no one in Philadelphia can even understand the impact of what the G 20 is.

second best sports city and tbs puts their team on 10 pm yet there was NO game today between the early game (which was 9 am in LA) and the yanks. MLB must be run by morons.

^The Broncos were playing this afternoon, so they pushed the Rockies game back to this evening.

^ then you would have had the Rockies playing at 1 immediately followed by the Broncos playing at 4 (most likely some overlap between the games). You can't push the football game any later than 4 because there is only one late football game on sunday.

Thus, the baseball game was on later that night so everyone at the football game could still see the baseball game. Also, traffic concerns were addressed with this method.
