Hey all, well I guess I kind of got what I wanted. Since I'm visiting NJ and PA right now (from So. Calif.), I was hoping to see some snow - LOL! I should have listened to my sister when she said "Be Careful What You Wish For"! We spent a couple of hours today trying to dig ourselves out of what was left after the Blizzard. At first it was fun, but that lasted all about 15 minutes. Now our bodies are starting to feel the pain. I'm just hoping when I wake up tomorrow, I can get out of bed!

Like I said in a previous post, this is just getting me ready for what my husband and I can expect when we move to PA later this year. I'm going to go now and make myself a cup of hot cocoa and curl up on the couch and watch some TV.

I normally come to visit in the summer, but my mother had eye surgery a week ago, so I came to be with her and help her out. Otherwise, I would not be here now. But it's all good. Everything worked out OK with her surgery, and that's the most important thing.

I'll talk to you all when I return to So. Calif. next week.

It is definitely beautiful Summering, especially the day after the storm with the sun shining and the clean fresh air (something we seldom get in So. Calif.). I just took my sister's dog out and really enjoyed the crisp air and all the stars in the sky.

I can't believe it. Every day this week is going to be nice, except for Wednesday when another Blizzard is coming, and that is the day I'm leaving to go home. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my flight isn't canceled, but if it is, I guess I'll just stay another day or two. It figures, right?

Default Back in So. Calif.

Well, I'm glad I decided to give Continental Airlines a call on Monday night, because I was able to get a flight out of Newark yesterday (Tuesday) and make it home before the Blizzard of the Century! I was scheduled to leave on Wednesday, so if I had waited to call, I would still be there.

I hope you are all safe in your homes tonight. I will keep you in mind. Take care.
