I think he understands very well how the typical Pennsylvanian outside of the major metro areas -- and away from the NY, NJ, eastern MD borders -- feels about this issue. When you look at the list of states involved in the several suits (Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington) it seems to me that PA fits well into that list.

Not really -- those are just all states with Republican Attorney Generals (and a few blue dog Dems).

Agreed, based on results. Bonusgate is like a small pimple on the derriere of state politics.

If he was so aggressive, or let's give him the benefit of the doubt and say proactive, about corruption how come several bigger scandals occured, or continued to occur, on his watch and he did not nothing about them? Fumo/Rubin/Arano/Liberty Seaport Museum, Luzerne County Judges kickback scheme, now spreading to Lackawanna County, PTC corruption that the Feds are investigating, and so on.

Did you feel that way when Obomma ran for president? Of course he didn't vote that much when he was a senator.

Corbett is an opportunist, and it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Not to mention he clearly doesn't have an understanding of constitutional law if he actually thinks he has a case. It's a complete waste of tax dollars, and all Pennsylvanians are going to have to foot the bill for his political agenda.

Funny how Republicans don't mind wasting tax dollars when it supports their causes, but perish the thought of subsidizing a basic necessity like healthcare.

Even though I agree with *some* of their stances, that is pretty well stated.

I don't have health insurance, yet I'm alive and well. Health care is NOT a necessity. By the way, the U.S. Government can't even afford its existing health programs, so exactly how the hell will it be able to afford a new one? Let me put it as simply as possible: the U.S. Government cannot afford to do nice things for people who cannot afford nice things.
