Hi everybody
We may be building a modular and would need to rent a home while it is being built. Do you know of any rental homes around in Wayne or Pike Counties?
Even Susquehanna County. Also would you know what the rent in certain areas are going for?

There are not many rentals out this way...

However there is a small apartment complex in Port Jervis NY- you can look in Orange County NY for a rental too. You will find more in the local newspaper for Port Jervis - recordonline.com

How long do you need to rent for??

Have you decided where you are going to build?

Just FYI - there are many existing homes for sale right now and you MIGHT be able to get a really good deal as it seems housing prices are in a lull right now...

I know you are looking for property and I have looked recently and saw some homes up on a few acres..have you decided where you are going to move yet?

Hi Winnie,
We want to be in Wayne or Susquehanna Counties. We want to build a Modular home. We haven't sold our home down here yet, but as soon as it sells we will be looking for something to rent. It depends on how long it takes to build the mod.
If we find a nice resale, we may go that route too. We can't do anything until we sell the home in SW Florida.
How far is Orange County NY from Wayne County???

Orange is a bit of a drive from Wayne county - Middletown is about an hour from southern Wayne, Port Jervis is right on the pike county border, so I can only guess about 45 minutes from Hawley area.

I have family out in Susquehannah. Jrieke's mom lives out there - you may want to send her a PM and see if she what she knows about the area. It is really quiet out that way - that is about all I know about susquehannah - I haven't been out that way in years.
