Hi everyone!
I hope someone can help! I am currently in Conshohocken now. My roomie is going back to live with her family for medical reasons. I am looking for a 1 bedroom (ideally with a den), or a 2 bedroom. I work and go to school in Blue Bell, I have a 3 1/2 y.o. boy not in school yet, not in daycare either. Pretty much just looking for a reasonably priced apartment in a nice area, with good schools for when he gets older. I hate moving, this is my almost 30 something time, in my life, moving. I hate it.. So I'd want to put some roots down, stay for a while and be comfortable living, in my own place!

It has to be near/in between Blue Bell, Roxborough. I was looking at Glenside and Bridgeport because it's reasonable, but I've never really been there.
When are you moving? June 20-26 2010

Where are you coming from?

Why are you moving?
Room mate moving

Blue Bell

Have you been here yet?
No (Glenside and Bridgeport), yes (Conshy, Flourtown, Norristown), other-Bala Cynwyd, Plymouth Meeting, Lafayette Hill, Blue Bell, Springfield Twp Montgomery County

Will you buy or rent?
How much can you spend?
$700 + electric --or one utility ($775 all together MAX)

Are you married or single? Do you have children?
In a straight relationship (4 years), ONE child(3 1/2 yrs)

Do you prefer public or private schools?

Do you have pets?

Do you want or need a yard?
A small covered outdoor area/patio/porch (if possible)

Are you keeping a car?
Yes, one (two on weekends/weeknights)

Do you prefer bustling activity or calm and quiet?
Calm/quiet close to activity, not out in NoMansLand

What do you want to be closest to?
1)Work 2)Shopping (grocery, superstore, banks) 3)Schools 4)LAUNDRY 5)Entertainment/Nightlife

Do you want to live with people of a similar age, race, religion or sexual preference or do you prefer a diverse neighborhood?

Similar age and race, but diversity welcomed

I'll consider anywhere in my price range and I want to live in a safe neighborhood (like I won't be losing sleep if I forget to lock the door or leave the windows open at night)... I would even consider living in another part of someone's house in Blue Bell. But definitely want to stay in Montgomery County!

Is the price of living cheap, moderate, or pricey?
How are the public schools? Do they have any type of "Head Start" program for 3-5 year olds?
Close or far?= hospital? Gas station? places like that.

What do you think?? Thanks in advance for your advice!

I think this post would get more responses on the Philadelphia forum. Can it be moved?
