I've been looking at the historical preservation certificate program offered at BCC for a few years. I know absolutely nothing about the area.

Does anyone have any feedback you'd like to offer about the college or the area in general?

I'd have to quit my job here in WV and completely start over, bummer... but disgust at this rut I'm in and dead end job is driving me crazy. If I don't do something different I'm never gonna get out of it, lol.

Thanks

I'm not sure which of their campuses you are looking at, but Bucks county is a beautiful area, although the cost of housing will probably be more then what you are paying in WV. Bucks County

I've taken a few classes there which were pretty good. My mom also went to nursing school there and got a great education. One of my cousins went there and then transferred to Temple to finish his degree and he's done really well for himself.

It's located in a great area, though it can be expensive depending what you're used to.

I am familiar with the area. I did not go to BCCC but I went to high school there. BCCC is right near Tyler state park. Newtown is nice and very safe but boring. It is just a tyical small town.

Newtown is about 40 minutes north of Philadelphia and one hour and 40 minutes from NYC.

Wow... I didn't realize it was that close to NYC.

Boring is ok, considering I'll be broke anyway, lol. Thanks everyone for the replies. Hoping some others will chime in, too.

Thanks
