My partner and I are headed to Pensacola this fall. We're looking to meetup with other people interested in backyard/urban farming, cloth diapering, simple living, progressive politics, breastfeeding, chicken raising, etc.

We do have some friends in the area already and have visited the local UU church. Does anyone have additional advice as to where we might find hippie/progressive/liberal friends?

To the angst of the local populous, this old Hippy/Folksinger shall be re-locating there in late fall.
Keep in touch!

Peace!

Still heading to Pensacola this fall. I'd love to meet more locals. Anyone even slightly crunchy in the area?

I would join Ever'man Natural Foods Co-Op. Just volunteering there and attending some of their seminars will help you find the people you want to connect with.
