When I've looked on Trulia at the crime for Santa Rosa Beach, I'm surprised how much shows up. It seems like such a nice area. Can anyone comment if maybe I'm translating this info wrong and the crime is not particularly high.

Not sure what you are referring to, but, it must be a mis-translation. My daughter lives there ... and she assures me that crime is definitely against the law there.

Not sure which part of Truila you're using, but the map I found describes the crime rate as green/low. Looking over the crimes listed, it skews toward shoplifting, petty theft (lock your car doors, people!) and drunks behaving badly. Be careful who you drink with, don't leave valuable stuff in view in your car, and you'll be fine.

I live in Santa Rosa Beach and don't see it. What there is is minor petty crime stuff.

Earlier this year, they had a large number of break-ins at a trailer park. That may have skewed the numbers.
