Can anyone tell me if there are formal or informal groups of retirees that play golf in and around Pensacola that you don't have to be a serious golfer to play with?

I've played golf now for over 30 years and although I love to play I'm not that great a player because I lack consistency from not playing enough. I'm moving to the Pensacola area probably in the May-June timeframe and I was wondering if there are any groups of not so serious golfers that I could join and play with? What I mean about being not too serious are golfers that lack consistency like myself that enjoy playing the game and don't get hung up regarding their scores. Basically, I'm looking for are golfers that simply love to play the game that don't care if their score or the score of others exceeds 100.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Moors Golf and Racquet Club and Tanglewood Golf and Country Club are both in Milton, about 20 minutes outside of Pensacola.

I'm not a golfer so I can't really answer your question. But I can tell you that there's a golf course on the navy base...and one in the Marcus point subdivision if you happen to move in there.

Thank you all for the info but are you aware of any groups of retirees that play at these courses? Besides playing golf I want to meet some people around my own age (62), especially those that may not be play well like myself.
