As for your defense of Trump, I am not sure why you felt compelled to go into all of that. Over half of the US population sees Trump and his followers as racist, bigoted and un-American. I know that not all of you are. But, that is the stereotype - I was just trying to say that not all of you are racist, bigoted and un-American. I have plenty of Trump-supporting friends whom I cherish.

I believe we are arguing over nothing here.

If you can find a place that meets your financial, social
religious and cultural obligations there is few reasons why
you and your family would not be able to adjust.

Best Wishes.

FWIW, I'm a 'Good ol boy' that flies Trump flags, AND I'm in a 23 year mixed marriage, where both have high level educations and employment. One might even be a university Registrar. Supporting Trump and his vision for the country is not a support vote for racism or intolerance. It is a support vote for common-sense values, right and wrong, and personal accountability for one's actions. It is a support vote for America over other countries. Since there are not enough resources in the world to support the entire globe at our standard of living, we should continue to enjoy what we have earned while helping others to earn it also - but not hand it away freely. That helps no one. That fosters entitlement and a lack of self-respect and personal dignity.

You say 'good ol boys' to infer a lack of education, sophistication, and/or tolerance. You attempt to smear people who appear one way with a brush you believe most would find unflattering. YOU appear to biased, not the other way around. Check your privilege.

Born and raised in the South, but to me, "good ol' boys" are the kind of hard-working, kind, inclusive, family-oriented guys who would do anything to help a neighbor. That's a lot of what I was missing in SW Florida, which is why I moved up to Gainesville, but I found out there aren't many of them here. You have to go a ways out of town.

Good ol' boys don't represent a party or a candidate. I know some pretty liberal ones, truth be told. But they are the kind of guys who will stop on the side of the highway if a lady alone is broken down, call their buddy with the tow truck, and stay and protect her until he gets there, always calling her "ma'am". But FIRST, he'll tinker around and see if he can get the car started for her, and follow her to a safer place.

I can't wait to move to the panhandle, where the good ol' boys live, so I'll know that if I have trouble, one will be there to help me.

Half the country may believe youre a subhuman who should drink out of the subhuman fountain with the other subhumans. Following your example, we all should just go along with that because, after all haaalf the country agrees youre a subhuman?

Anyone who believes Trump or Trump supporters are unAmerican is a deeply misguided fool. No borders, selling jobs overseas, corrupt: courts, schools, voting and government, debasement American culture, enrichment of the 1% via sick, useless wars- is what is unAmerican and what Trump & supporters fought against and what opponents love

Lol, the response of the logically defeated. At least he didn't go personal. That's what most people do when they can't win an argument or make their points based on facts and evidence, so kudos for that, at least.

Copy. Lost the argument and can't continue it based on facts or evidence. Good on you for realizing it, you are starting to turn from the dark side.

Florida is like this.
If you live north of Orlando the majority of that section of FL is Red. (outside of like Jacksonville maybe)
If you live south of Orlando Primarily south east coastal and south west costal the majority of those sections are blue.
Whether people wanna address the elephant in the room or not. Places that are blue tend to be more accepting of people coming from different backgrounds. Hate on me if you will.
I'm just being honest.
I'm not saying all people who support red are problem causers. I just know as a Latino I don't fell as welcomed when I go town in FL that favors red.
