All,

I'm currently teaching science at a high school in Baldwin County, Alabama and am thinking about teaching in Escambia County (yeah, I know it would be a bit of a drive). The thing is, I am on a provisional license in Alabama and would need one in Florida as well. Does anyone know how easy or difficult it might be to get a provisional license in Escambia? I'm OK with teaching middle school as well as high school and would be willing to teach science, math, social studies or ESL.

Thanks in advance...

Why do you want to move your job from Baldwin to Escambia?

A while back, there was supposedly s big wave of teachers who went from Santa Rosa and Escambia FL over to Baldwin County for better pay and working conditions. So ask around with your coworkers.
