Jim was approximately 23 in 1983 when I had last meaningful contact with him. He was studying to be an accountant and was renting a room on Summit Avenue in Hackensack NJ. I believe he eventually secured a job in NYC. Jim was an articulate, brilliant fellow who was friend to many at an evangelical church in New Milford. There may have been a disagreement at the church which caused his departure. After that, he may have moved closer to the Fairmont section of Hackensack.
Jim was a good humored man, and I helped him get conscientious objector documentation (the military draft was re-instituted at that time and Jim was a pacifist). He and I took a bike ride from Hackensack into NY state one afternoon, and never made it to an imagined waterfall. He had a hearty laugh, a good sense of humor, and we were the only ones laughing in the theater during the showing of the movie "Airplane" near his grandmother's house. He and I also took a helicopter ride during the Orange County fair, and the pilot scared the mess out of us by tipping us against our seatbelts towards the plexi windscreen some 500 feet in the air.
Can someone help me re-locate him or tell me of his whereabouts? He had been seen in the local Houlihan's in Hackensack by my family members up to approximately 15 years ago, but could not be contacted with intention. I can be reached by DM for more specific information, but I can answer most generic questions and will similarly accept commentary on his whereabouts herein.
