Please help me find my birth family. I have been looking a long time. According to my non-identifying birth information, my mother was one of 12 children. Her father was married 3 times and she was by his third wife, who gave birth to 8 children. She only had a brief relationship with my father and she knew from the beginning that she was giving me up for adoption, which occurred at the Children's Bureau in Columbia, SC. I was born on December 15, 1951 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens, SC. IF anyone feels that this story sounds familiar, please e-mail me at: dgideon1 @charter.net. Also, since I have no names to help with this search, do you have any suggestions? My mother named me "James Robert ?" and when I was at the Children's Bureau in COlumbia, SC., I was called "Bobby."
