I didn't even think about posting this, but after reading a success story that someone was found, I figured I'd give it a shot.

Without going into too much detail, a person by the name of Ben Johnson helped me get off the streets in New York and moved me down to Jacksonville, Florida back in 1993. I owe him so much more than gratitude...I have tried over the years to search for him through the internet and letter writing random "Ben Johnson"'s, but to no avail. It's a common name, so it's a pain.

I don't know much about him except he may be between the ages of 40 - 45. He was/is in the Navy and his base was in Jacksonville in 1993. He attended Fleet Week in New York City in May of 1993.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.........

Do you know if his name was Benjamin or Benson? Do you remember his middle name? Some relatives names? Anything that might help us find him for you.

I believe it was Benjamin, but I could be wrong. He helped me get off the streets and I lived with him and his roommate David for about six weeks. That's all I have. I know...not much to go on. I don't know if there's a way to access Naval records?

This person helped me re-start my life. It was never anything romantic...he was like a big brother. I didn't leave his place entirely on my own will. If it weren't for him, I'd probably be homeless. He took a chance on a kid, and I turned out okay. I just want to thank him and give him the money back that he gave me to get started....
