I have just found out more about my adoption and would like to know if this rings a bell with anyone around that area. My mother was 14 yrs old when she had me January 18,1958 at San Joaquin County Hospital ( 2 months premature). Both her parents died 2 years before I was born (sometime in 1956) and she was one of 8 siblings, 7 were living when I was born one of her brothers was deceased due to war connected service. She was in 8th grade when she had me and I don't believe she went back to school. At that time she never told anyone who the father was. Sorry I don't know any names. If anyone can help or knows of some history back then I would appreciate it.

You could look into High Schools in the area. Find their reunion page & start asking if anyone knew of a family with 8 siblings. If she was 14 in 1958 she may have likely been due to graduate in say 1962. She had to be friends with someone in that class.
