The head also looks photoshopped onto the uniform in the first photo..
Yeah, we were discussing that in private the other night. The other pics at the dating site show no sign of this being a military base. In that first pic his head and the background are sharp while the uniform is faded...didn't know if the flash would have that effect or if the head was pasted on to the pic. Plus the sunglasses at night look weird. The scammer may have needed to make up the military part of the story to explain why he couldn't send her any new pics, so he made the fake one.
Do you think this may be private security for some construction site in the middle east? We're pouring over the background looking for details and clues.
And using those pictures on a dating site? Weird.

Middle pic looks like Stalone sitting amid Mit Romneys family..
LOL
But we must remember the mission here, to find the real guy whose pics were stolen by the scammer. We've concluded the 2 dating sites are the scammer, not the real guy.

I wondered about the sunglasses at night too!! I was afraid that the scammer was the one on the dating sites also. Thank you guys so much for your help me with this. There is no way I could do this alone. I can't thank you all enough. I will be working on this as well. However, you guys are more computer savy than I...lol... I am learning as I go.
I am positive that this was a scam because he asked for money on two different occasions and of course, it was to be sent thru Western Union. The first time it was to someone in Turkey. The second time it was to a lady in Cornersville, TN. He said he wanted to take a leave and come to the states to visit. I would have to send money to pay for his replacement that would be coming from Turkey. He claimed he was a captain and couldnt be replaced unless he had someone fly in to take his place. The other money was for a secure line so we could have a secure way to talk.
I've been contacted by someone just like this too. HUGE scam.
Any insight as to the equipment/structures in the background?
that eqipment looks similar in size and scope what you would occasionally see as temperory set-ups for base and concrete mixing during road projects along interstates.
Wow-interesting...the first pic looks photochopped his head doesn't match the body-you didn't send him money right? This is why I'm not on social sites..
The structure in the back looks like concrete mixing....any more pics?
