Try to use the "quote" link when posting, so everyone will know who you are replying to, and to what comment.

Is your Father African American or Caucasion?

Go back to your question which is comment #1.
Read all of them. When you get to #10, 5thgenSF suggest you call the concrete company.

Where in comments #1 - #9 is the concrete company mentioned?
What is the name of the concrete company?
Can you post a link to a website that verifies he was born in 1923 in Maryland?

I asked about his race because it was not stated.
And someone beside you mentioned the concrete company before you did, implying the name may have been known. Maybe it is closed, or maybe it is open under another name, or maybe somone who worked there could be located.
With a quick look at the 1940 census I did not see your Father's birth quickly, so that is why I asked.

If the other two members who tried to help you, were unable to find the person you are looking for, then maybe more details are needed.

If you might know the name or location (city and state) of the concrete company, it might be able to lead to a clue, even if it's closed. Many other people worked there.

Good luck on your search.

I can`t mention the name of the company because that`s the only way we`ll know for they are the same person who called, if someone claims to be her. She knows dads name and i`m hoping she`ll see one of my post and get in touch with me.

I understand.

You can try to locate someone from the forum, who might be able to help you, and communicate by direct messages, and not on the public forum.
You can glance through the many pages on this forum, and easily locate the ones who are the most successful over time.

I'll suggest this to you.
It may be easier to find someone that knows your half sister, than to find your half sister herself. There are many people that know her.

Hopefully she, or one of her friends, sees your question and you are able to contact her soon.

Don't know what she actually said when she called, this is pretty reduclous- you said she got your brothers phone (same name as your dad?).... Thought maybe she was looking for jr. Look at danielle74 ..... She's in Lakewood, WA. I know - probably not relevant, but a long shot is better than no shot! : )
