It was a few years after she called before he told me so looking up phone records it out. He doesn`t remember the year.
Do you know where the call came from? What city and state?
Was it the same city and state where you lived at the time?
I think the phone records are there, though you do not know the year.
Can you pin it down to any range of dates?
I've got my phone bills from decades ago, with every phone call listed. If you have access to such records in your house or through the phone company at the time, you scour them for any phone number that came from the area code where she was calling from.

Howard my brother is very ill and can`t remember when he got the call and his wife said not to bother them with it so i`m on my own. She must live in or around Essex Maryland because she said she wanted to stop by some day and meet with him. He never got a name tho

Hopefully she still lives in that area since she called not that long ago.
As you look around the forum you see multiple situations where the first, or last name, or both are not known. You have one thing in your favor and that is your sister made an effort to call. She is still out there. Your brother not taking down the phone number, etc. was only a stop sign along the way.
Here is how I spell stop. G O - A R O U N D.

Perhaps you could try placing an ad in the local paper? I was just in that area of the county a few days ago, but didn't see your post until this evening. Maybe this link will help.

Page Title
(EastCountyTimesOnline.com)

BTW, I was able to find when your father and mother purchased and sold their home on Guilford Ave., but couldn't quickly find any information that was relevant to your search. I'm assuming you've tried questioning older relatives and their adult children.

Actually, you may need to expand your search outside of Essex, Middle River, etc. There are several communities within a stone's throw of Essex/Middle River. I will ask my father if he knew your Dad and I'll also ask my sisters if they know someone who could be your h. sister. You never know...

If I can be of any additional assistance, shoot me a pm.

Lenora

Edited to add: Did your father have a nickname?

Howard555 has helped me get an article placed in East County times. I think it runs in their ned edition in the Editorial section.Howard has been such a blssing helping me for quite awhile. Yes i`ve questioned everyone. I appreciate any help anyone can give me. We`re not young ladies so time is important. I`ve lost 3 of my 6 brothers already and would love for her to meet the others.

Well, so far, my youngest sister couldn't help. I'll see my father this afternoon and have two more siblings to question. Darn. I'm wondering if she attended Kenwood High School and whether the school's yearbooks would be of assistance.

Local senior center?

Posting a flyer at major intersections?

Don't mind me, I'm just thinking out loud.
