Anyone help on marriage records in North Dakota?
(other than certified records obtained by a family member sending in some form and fees)

Hi Jan.......

We know marriage licenses are public but not always F R E E.
One of the links you sent

ended in a phone call and about two hours later heeeere comes the marriage license to the person looking for it. Now they have a name to search for.

Another is looking for a friend who married in Michigan but we found out that only half the counties have the records on their website. The rest require office visits, forms, fees.
All the counties have to be searched one by one in Michigan and that tedious effort that hasn't started yet.
