My name is Edith Mercado married name Alvarado born May 4, 1971 in the New York Infimary. I have been trying for years and with the small info my mom (Angelica Betancourt) can recollect to find my biological father Ruben Mercado, but it isn't getting me anywhere. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico either june/july of 1947 making him 66 yrs old now. The only address she remembers is where they lived just before she left him 61 Bryant Avenue, Bronx NY. Last known employment was Sea and Air Moving company in the Bronx, where he would drive trucks local & out of state. She only recalls his mothers first name "Altagracia" I know he had a son shortly after mom left him nicknamed "Indio", and just would love to meet him and any one else. I met him once when I was about 7, when we lived in Boston MA. So, as you see, this really isn't much for me to go on. So, if you could help with any info, I would really appreciate it.
